BFG decide to pull the plug on video card market

By: (more) | Video Cards News | Posted: May 19, 2010 5:56 am

Wondering why you haven't seen any new graphics cards released from BFG lately? That's because there is none; not now and not in the foreseeable future. The company has announced this week that it has pulled the plug on the graphics card market, but it is kicking on with a range of power supplies, notebooks and Phobos desktop gaming PCs.

We actually predicted this might happen as far back as the beginning of 2009 following a press release from Galaxy that hinted BFG Tech's solid partnership with mass etailer Best Buy was slipping. It's a shame to hear of this news; the company was well respected in this area for many years thanks to a great mixup of cards, solid, well honored warranties and excellent customer support.

For existing BFG graphics card owners, don't fear. BFG are looking after you with full RMA and support services continuing for a good amount of time into the future. The company has made sure to keep a good inventory of cards and monies aside for that reason.
