iBUYPOWER LAN Warrior II debuts

By: (more) | Computer Systems News | Posted: May 14, 2010 5:04 pm

iBUYPOWER is not as well known in the gaming and enthusiast PC world as the likes of Velocity Micro and Alienware. The good news with that is the machines at iBUYPOWER are much cheaper than what you would pay at some of the larger boutique PC makers.

iBUYPOWER has announced a new gaming rig that is packed inside the new mATX chassis from NZXT called the Vulcan. The small machine isn't small on power or options though. It can be fitted with up to 24GB of RAM and various Intel Core i7 CPUs.

The chassis has room for a pair of ATI HD 5970 or GTX 480 video cards. It has four 3.5-inch bays and a pair of external drive bays. Power for the rig is up to 1200W and the machine has a carry handle for schlepping it back and forth to the LAN party. Pricing for the machine starts at $999 and it is available now.
