Corsair shatters dual-channel memory frequency record for AMD CPUs
Corsair is a huge part of the memory market for computers of all types for enthusiasts and gamers. The company makes all sorts of gear like flash drives and power supplies in addition to PC memory. Corsair is always out to prove its memory is tops and the company has announced that it has broken a record.

Corsair reports that it has broken the world record for dual-channel memory on AMD Phenom II processors. The record breaking run was made on a machine using Dominator GTX4 Memory, a Hydro Series H50 CPU cooler, and a Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition CPU.
Corsair was able to get the RAM to run stable at 2287.6MHz and the record setting run was independently validated. That is some fast memory for sure. The board in the record setting PC was an Asus Crosshair IV Formula.
