Patriot was talking up its Inferno SSD back during CES and the drive is now ready to go with a new SandForce controller. The SSD promises some impressive performance numbers for the user looking to get into a decent capacity SSD.
Patriot specially screens the MLC NAND flash ships that are used to make the 100GB and 200GB inferno SSDs. Both of the drives use the same SandForce DuraClass technology controller for faster boot times and data access.
The drive has wear leveling technology and promise sequential read speed of 285MB/s and sequential write of 275MB/s. There is no official world on pricing at this time.
