| Software News | Posted: May 13, 2010 8:20 am

Valve has opened the gates to a gaming paradise for Mac users with a compatible version of Steam released that so far gives access to 57 game titles.

Amongst the pack is a free download (until May 24th) for the hugely successful game, Portal and a heap of LucasArts classics available, too.

However, while the client is now available, there's a few things Valve still needs to polish off such as the game store and many will be holding out for Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead which is currently absent.

The source has the the full list of available game titles.
