It hasn't been too long since Apple finally updated its MacBook Pro line of notebooks. The long delay is said to have been caused by a shortage of Intel 2010 Core processors. When the MacBook Pro line got their updates, the MacBook Air did not.
MacWorld Australia reports that a tipster who was right on the money with the MacBook Pro updates has said that the Air will get an update this week. The rumor stems from a new product turning up in the database with the product number MC516LL/A K87 BETTER BTR-USA.
That number is thought to be the Air, but Macworld reports it could also be a new display. A new 27-inch display is expected to land soon. Tuesday is the day Apple tends to add new gear to the store, so we shall see tomorrow if the Air gets an update.
