Patriot gears up for Computex with 2500MHz DDR3 modules and SandForce SSDs

Touching base at the top end in memory and storage

Patriot has some nice playing cards for Computex this year. The strong standing storage and memory maker is readying up some super fast DDR3-2500MHz "Sector 5 Edition" memory kits under its Viper II Series that will be available in both 4 and 6GB kits. Their 2500MHz speeds will be possible with timings of 9-11-9-27T at 1.65v.

Word has it that Patriot is also preparing to release a new series of SSDs to market which will make use of the proven SandForce SF-1200 controller; a new favourite in the SSD market.

Come Computex I'm sure we'll be hearing and seeing a lot more about these parts.
