Corsair releases super fast 2533MHz Dominator GTX modules

The fastest hand picked chips Corsair could find

| RAM News | Posted: May 7, 2010 12:13 pm

Corsair has pushed memory boundaries yet again with today's release of some new super fast DDR3 memory modules under its top-end Dominator GTX line-up.

The new Dominator GTX4 series brings with it modules that are guarenteed to handle speeds of up to 2533MHz. Each RAM chip used for these modules is individually screened and graded for performance. The top performing chips are kept aside for these modules whilst the remainder return to normal manufacturing lines.

These modules can run their 2533MHz rated speed with latencies of 9-11-10-30 at Intel's acceptable 1.65V. Being part of the Dominator GTX series, the modules include Corsair's DHX+ high-quality heatsinks which sport extended aluminum fins for improved heat dissipation.

It goes without saying that if you want a pair of these modules in your rig you'll be digging extra deep into your pockets. But as always, if you want the best expect to pay a significant premium to have it.
