By: (more) | Laptops News | Posted: May 5, 2010 6:36 pm

HP has added a couple new notebooks to its line of Envy machines today along with tons of other notebooks for businesses and consumers. The new Envy machines are the most interesting though.

The two new machines have ATI HD5830 graphics for gaming, video, and 3D images. Both of the machines also have backlit keyboards, slot loading optical drives, and HD webcams.

Connectivity includes a mini DisplayPort connector and WiFi along with optional 3G modems on the 14. The Envy 14 has a 14.5-inch screen and is one of the thinnest quad-core notebooks available. Pricing starts at $999.99 for the Envy 14 and $1399.99 for the 17 and both will ship on May 19.
