For the purposes of next-gen kiosk, POI and POS applications, VIA has just unveiled its first Nano E-Series Mini-ITX motherboard which it calls the EPIA-M830.

This board supports the new 64-bit capable Nano E-series processors whilst confining itself to a Mini-ITX form factor. There's a mini-PCie socket onboard as well as a PCIe x4 slot for further expansion possibilities.

The board is sold in both active and passive cooled configurations. Its rear I/O delivers an RS-232 connector, four USB 2.0 ports, VGA out and line-in/line-out audio jacks.

The board is now available to project customers. You can find more details on it over at the official product page here and within the press release at the source link below.
