ASUS has just officially launched a new member in its Eee PC Seashell series dubbed the 1005PR. This model despite only being powered by the underwhelming Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, can give smooth HD playback to its 1366x768 LED backlit 10.1-inch display thanks to the inclusion of Broadcom's Crystal HD chip.

Other specs include 1GB of RAM, 250GB HDD, 1.3MP webcam, WiFi (n), Bluetooth 2.1 and 6-cell battery giving up to 11 hours of life per full charge.

The 1005PR also includes a chiclet style keyboard. It shiped with a copy of Windows 7 Starter pre-installed and is backed with a one year warranty in the U.S. for an MSRP of $399.99.
