By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: Apr 28, 2010 11:26 am

Watercooling gurus Swiftech have quietly released a new GPU water-block to market; the MCW80. This is the successor to their popular MCW60 and is of universal design with compatibility for all current generation GPUs (bar the GTX 400 series, but a supporting kit for this can be purchased separately in the near future for an additional $11.99.

The block is full copper with a high-density pin matrix that increases the surface area of heat dissipation. The outer housing is made of black Delrin.

The block has compatibility for eurostyle fittings with a built-in o-ring and it maintains the G 1/4 specification for the ports. The overall size of the block comes in at 49.6 x 49.6 x 32.2 mm with a weight of 141g.

Swiftech is now selling the MCW80 at a price of $56.95.
