LG Display invests to triple OLED building capacity
Rumors have been circulating this week that claim the next generation iPad will sport an OLED screen. Those rumors are hard to believe considering the price of the screens today. LG Display announced today that it would be expanding its OLED making capacity.

Interestingly LG Display is a provider for screens to Apple. LG Display will be investing $225.7 million to triple its OLED capacity.
This dovetails nicely with the Apple rumors. Higher capacity should mean lower prices assuming yields are decent. LG Display also plans to have a 30-inch OLED screen by the middle of 2011.
