MSI has just announced availability of a tidy number in its gaming notebook lineup dubbed the GX640.

This unit sports an ATI Radeon HD 5850 GPU and Intel Core i5-430M processor. Its display is 15.4-inch sized with a resolution of 1680x1050. Other specs include 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB SATA 7200RPM HDD, 802.11a/g/n and Bluetooth connectivity, 2MP webcam and 9-cell battery.

MSI's GX640 can now be purchased from Amazon at a base price of $1099.99 and it will be listed on Newegg within the next week.
