The smartphone is one of the most converged devices that most of us use. We can surf the web on it, check email, play games, and do lots more. Many smartphones now have GPS letting us ditch the PND as well.

T-Mobile and Garmin have announced that T-Mobile will be the exclusive provider of the Garminfone when it lands in the US later this spring. The device is built around GPS navigation with Garmin software and features like locating cheap gas prices and theaters.
The device has a 3.5-inch touchscreen and connects to the 3G T-Mobile network. The big screen is full touch capable and the handset has a 3MP camera. Pricing and an exact availability date are unknown.
