Next iPad to sport OLED screen?
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AAIt's way too early for speculation on the next generation iPad in my book, but that hasn't stopped it from turning up. A new source is claiming that the next iPad will sport an OLED screen.

An OLED screen would be nice for sure, it would extend the battery life and provide better colors. The massive downside is that OLED screens cost much more than the LCD screens on current iPads.
The source cited by DigiTimes claims that OLED prices will drop significantly next year making the screens viable for the iPad. I have some serious doubts about this rumor.
