Corsair give quad-channel performance + outer strength w/ Flash Survivor GTR Flash Drives

By: (more) | Storage News | Posted: Apr 20, 2010 5:16 am

Corsair's ruggedized Flash Survivor family of flash drives has just been given a new addition in the Flash Survivor GTR; combining toughness with performance.

These new drives come in capacities of 32 and 64GB and feature both a tough aluminum shell as well as the implementation of quad-channel technology to enhance performance; the same technology Corsair uses for its recently launched Flash Voyager GTR series.

Corsair says the new Flash Survivor GTR series can achieve read and write rates of up to 34MB/sec and 28MB/sec respectively. Corsair gives the drives a 10 year limited warranty for added satisfaction.
