Xerox has unveiled a new scanner for the office that doubles as a mobile scanner when you are on the go. The device is called the DocuMate 3115 and it has a portable section with a dock for the office.

When on the go the scanner can be powered by a USB port or an AC outlet. I can scan up to 30ppm in duplex mode and has an auto document feeder that holds 20 pages.

The optical resolution for the scanner is 600 dpi and it has 24-bit color, 8-bit grayscale, and 1-bit bitonal modes. The scanner measures 11.7" x 4.7" x 4.8" and weighs 3.9 pounds. It can be purchased now for $399.99.
