Samsung gives 10.1-inch NB30 netbook Touchscreen support

And for a much higher price tag....

Not sure how many people could justify the significantly higher price tag for this type of product, but Samsung has just introduced a touchscreen capable netbook that is otherwise identical to its ruggedized NB30 model, simply called NB30 Touch.

The screen is still 10.1-inch and still runs the typical 1024x600 resolution, but Samsung seem to think there's a market for touchscreen support on it.

Despite all the other specs being identical to the NB30 (Atom N450 processor, 1GB RAM, 160 or 320GB HDD and Windows 7 Starter), there's a big hit to the pocket for the Touch model at around $545, versus $380 for the non-touchscreen version.
