Logitech finally ships Squeezebox touch

By: (more) | Audio, Sound & Speakers News | Posted: Apr 8, 2010 5:06 pm

A long time ago Logitech pulled the wraps off a bunch of new Squeezebox devices. The coolest was the touchscreen unit called the Squeezebox Touch.

The Touch was expected t ship long ago and at the last minute, it was delayed for some reason. Logitech has finally announced that the Squeezebox Touch is now shipping. If you have a Squeezebox system in your home already, you will need Squeezebox Server 7.5.0 to use the Touch.

In case you forget what the Touch is, it's sort of like a Squeezebox controller for other devices. A WiFi music player lets you control all zones of a home audio system and has a 4.3-inch touch screen.
