Samsung has just enhanced its SpinPoint range of 2.5-inch hard drives with the new MP4 series which while not as impressive performance wise as an SSD, will still be particularly attractive as an upgrade for many notebook users with its 7200RPM rotational speed, SATA 3.0Gbps interface, 16MB of cache, NCQ support and Samsung's own Dynamic Balancing, SilentSeek and NoiseGuard technologies to ensure quiet operation.
