Adobe Creative Suite 5 set to launch on the 12th

New suite with Cuda Acceleration

| Software News | Posted: Apr 6, 2010 9:28 pm

With all the news about Apple's latest device some very cool things has slipped through the cracks and been forgotten. One of these is the impending launch of Adobe's Creative Suit 5 with the new Mercury Engine. This engine was developed using NVIDIA's Cuda tools.

This new software should launch in only 6 days (that would be April 12th) and is set to show how GPGPU computing can improve professional work-flow. Although we do know the exact date of the launch now; we have also heard that the product was possibly delayed quite a bit by the delay of NVIDIA's Fermi GPU.

We hope to know more in the next few days and will bring you the information we find.
