PeeWee PC prepare a ruggized netbook for kids

By: (more) | Laptops News | Posted: Apr 1, 2010 8:22 am

The folks over at PeeWee PC who know how to bring a smile to all little no-neck monster's faces has just announced its new PeeWee Power Laptop.

Given it's aimed at children between the ages of 4 to 8, it needed to be able to withstand a lot of pain and for that reason PeeWee designed it to be spill resistant as well as featuring a durable drop/shock-proof construction that will make this ruggedized 10.1" unit difficult to destory, even for the most destructive of toddlers.

Running over the actual specs, it'll be more than sufficient for any task a child's going to need. Running an Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU on Intel's NM10 Express chipset, the unit also includes a GB of DDR2 memory, 160GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth, 6-cell battery, 1.3M camera and memory card reader.

PeeWee PC has slapped an MSRP on the PeeWee Power Laptop of $499.99.
