AT&T works on network in preparation for iPhone on Verizon
Anyone who uses the iPhone will tell you that the AT&T network can be exceptionally frustrating. Dropped calls and texts that don't show up for hours or days at times are common.
AT&T knows that right now iPhone users and fans are stuck and have no choice but to put up with the network. With new rumors circulating this week that an iPhone is heading to Verizon, AT&T is said to be hard at work making its network better.
The Wall Street Journal reports that AT&T is working on fixing up its network and making it more robust. According to analysts, if AT&T doesn't fix the network it faces the serious prospect of a mass exodus of iPhone users when the device hits Verizon.
