Asus preparing two iPad competitors

Asus set for iPad competitors

| Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Mar 31, 2010 4:02 pm

The Apple iPad is set to hit stores and the hands of waiting geeks this Saturday. The device is predicted to be a huge seller for Apple. Other companies are looking to get into the tablet action too and Asus has a couple tablets up its sleeves.

Asus is reportedly working on not one, but two tablets to fight the iPad. One of the machines will run Windows and the other will run a Google OS. If that OS is Android or Chrome is unknown at this point.

I bet Android gets the nod since it has much better brand recognition on the market today. We don't have any other details at this point, but we should know more at Computex this summer.
