Thermalright working on bolt-through kit for GTX 470. 480 & some new VRM heatsinks to suit

By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: Mar 30, 2010 12:22 pm

In continuation of its future-proofing focus With the release of NVIDIA's GTX 400 series, Thermalright has mentioned that it is working on a bolt-through kit (BTK) to allow some of its popular existing VGA heatsinks to be attached to these cards.

Compatible heatsinks together with this BTK include the Spitfire, HR-03 GT and HR-03 GTX. Two all-new VRM heatsinks will also be released to market that are designed specifically for the reference PCBs on the GTX 470 and 480 cards; these simply dubbed the VRM GTX 470 and VRM GTX 480.

The GF 100 VGA BTK, VRM GTX 480 and VRM GTX 470 are said to be released to market within the next month or so, but we're not exactly sure when or how much they'll be.
