Apple cannot make enough iPads for launch

New online pre-orders will need to wait

| Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Mar 29, 2010 11:32 am

News surfaced over the weekend regarding the new iPad tablet and further supply issues.

Electronista Staff wrote that by checking out the Apple Store they noticed that new Wi-Fi equipped iPads will not ship until April 12th, which is one week after the initial batch of deliveries.

And if you want the more expensive iPad with 3G connectivity you'll need to wait till sometime in 'late April' before taking delivery of your new toy.

You would have thought Apple would have been experienced enough by now in this gig to fulfill all orders at the launch. A quick glance at the small print also reveals that Apple is only accepting two orders per customers for the pre-order.
