Pegatron show off mini Tegra-2 powered bamboo box

By: (more) | Computer Systems News | Posted: Mar 25, 2010 9:32 am

The folks at Engadget have spotted a compact nettop'ish type system from Pegatron which is said to be based on NVIDIA's Tegra 2 platform. This would mean it should have no worries in decoding 1080p and flash video content, making it a nice cheap, tidy little option for the right type of HTPC user in the lounge.

The style is interesting, but certainly not to everyones taste. It looks to be a bamboo designed casing over a thin plastic box.

The unit has HDMI, Ethernet, microphone and speaker plugs located round the back.

You can find some more angles of the unit at the source. No word on pricing or availability yet.
