Thermaltake releases LAN-Mobility V5 Black Edition chassis

By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: Mar 22, 2010 1:32 pm

Thermaltake are hammering out new designs in their chassis lineup for what almost seems like a '1 a month' schedule in recent times.

The latest to join their arsenal is the new LAN-Mobility V5 Black Edition, a stealth all-black mid-tower chassis with attitude.

As indicative by the name, this little tower caters to enthusiasts and gamers on the move, particularly those who love LAN parties etc. - You can see from the image above it has a super large reinforced handle up top designed to make for easier transportation.

Other features of this chassis include room for up to nine drives in different combinations of 5.25", 3.5" and also 2.5" sizes. The chassis sports a large 200mm blue LED fan up top and a 120mm intake turbo-fan on the rear. There is mounting available for another 120mm fan to be added to the side panel in a position that looks after your VGA cooling setup, while room for another 120mm fan is just in front of the drive bays.

Thermaltake is pricing this little black beauty at just $69 U.S. - You can get a better idea of its feature-set and styling in their streaming video below :-
