Active Media intros speedy compact eSATA Flash Drives (100MB/sec+)

By: (more) | Storage News | Posted: Mar 22, 2010 12:24 pm

Active Media have introduced a new lineup of eSATA Flash Drives to market today with 16 and 32GB capacities.

Upon first glance they look much like any other conservative styled flash drive on the market with dimensions of 3.1 x 1.1 x 0.4 inches. But these little units take advantage of the eSATA interface's throughput with the use of MLC NAND Flash that gives sequential read and write speeds of up to 100MB/sec and 55MB/sec respectively.

You can now purchase these 16GB and 32GB eSATA Flash Drives from Active Media through Amazon online at a price of $69.95 and $109.95 respectively.
