VIA VX900 + Chromotion HD 2.0 looking strong

VIA is about to officially unveil a new generation chipset+IGP for netbooks and nettops which is expected to pave the way for a large lineup of new devices using this platform in the 2nd half of this year.

 

VIA calls it the VX 900 series chipset and one of the particular highlights includes their Chromotion HD 2.0 GPU which is said to be a very capable graphics chip, providing smooth 1080p playback.
