Dell intros new Vostro 230 budget desktop PCs
Dell has just rolled out its latest Vostro desktop PC members in the 230 series. These two units are available in both mini-tower and slim tower sizes and one of the main points of focus for these is on value, hence pricing beginning at just $389 for the slim tower and $299 for the mini (which can go up depending on what your upgrade path at purchase is).

The base models come equipped with Pentium dual-core CPUs, but you can go for a Core 2 Duo or Quad if you want some more horsepower. Other specs include up to 4GB of RAM, 2TB of storage via a couple 1TB drives, DVD reader/writer and choice of GMA X4500 IGP or GeForce G310/GT220 512MB discrete graphics.
Both units come shipped with Windows 7 pre-loaded and are backed by a 1 year warranty.
