We heard about the MSI Wind U160 netbook back in early February. What we didn't know at the time is when exactly the machine would ship. MSI has now offered us that info.

MSI says that the U160 is available right now at Frys, Newegg.com, and Buy.com for $379.99. We already know the specs of the U160, but in case you missed them I will outline them again. The U160 uses an Intel N450 Atom CPU.

It runs Windows 7 Starter, has a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 LCD screen that is LED backlit, and graphics via Intel GMA3150. It has 1GB of RAM, 160GB of storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a memory card reader. The 6-cell battery provides a claimed 15 hours of battery life per charge.
