Asus is pulling the wraps off a lot of gear at CeBIT this week. Among the offerings getting official at the show is the new line of N series notebooks that all run the same hardware and vary in screen size. The machines will also offer superior sound systems.
Asus will be using its SonicMaster specifications for sound along with amplified Altec Lansing speakers on the line. All models will get Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 processor options and Radeon HD 5730 or GeForce GT 325M graphics.
Storage is up to 640GB and up to 8GB of RAM is supported. WiFi and Bluetooth are built in and all the machines use 6-cell batteries. The difference is screen size with the N61J getting a 16-inch 1366 x 768 screen, the N71J getting a 17.3-inch 1600 x 900 screen, and the N82J getting a 14-inch 1366 x 768 screen.
