GIGABYTE's first 890GX + SB850 mobo spotted at Newegg

Details of GIGABYTE's first 890GX + SB850 motherboards have come about thanks to a listing that showed up on Newegg.

Dubbed the GA-890GPA-UD3H, this board carries with it both native SATA 6Gbps support and USB 3.0 using NEC's controller. The use of AMD's 890GX chipset gives integrated Radeon HD 4250 graphics and support for existing AM3 socket Athlon II and Phenom II processors as well as the upcoming Phenom II X6 six-core processors.

GIGABYTE gives two PCI-E 2.0 x16 slots on this board for CrossfireX support (electrically running at x8/x8 when both are in use), as well as three PCI-E x1 and two legacy PCI slots.

As you can see from the screenshot above, the IGP can be connected to using D-Sub, DVI and HDMI. You can also see the two blue NEC controlled USB 3.0 ports in the above shot.

Newegg were said to be advertising the GA-890GPA-UD3H at a $139.99 price point, but have since pulled down pricing info until further notice.
