LG Unveils X200 netbook and T280 ultra portable in Korea

By: (more) | Laptops News | Posted: Feb 22, 2010 6:08 pm

When I think about LG, I think about cool TVs and home theater gear more than I think about notebooks and netbooks. The company has notebooks and netbooks in its line though and it has unveiled a couple new models in Korea.

The new machines include the X200 netbook with the Pine Trail 1.66GHz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, 250GB of storage and Intel GMA 3150 graphics. The machine has WiFi as well and uses a chicklet style keyboard.

The T280 is the first notebook from LG to use CULV processors. The CPUs available include a Pentium dual-core unit and a Core 2 Duo CPU. The display is 11.6-inches and it can be had with 2GB of RAM, WiFi, GMA 4500 graphics and more. Storage is either to a 320GB HDD or a 500GB HDD depending on the CPU chosen. The X200 has passed the FCC so it should and in America soon.
