Pioneer Computers introduce DreamBook Lite E79 down under

Australian based "Pioneer Computers" is now selling a little 7-inch Atom-less smartbook dubbed the DreamBook Lite E79 which is powered by an ARM based Samsung processor running at 533MHz. It runs Microsoft's Windows CE 5.0 OS and includes 128MB RAM and 2GB of flash storage, as well as having an SD card slot for the ability to increase your storage capacity.

 

 

This little number runs dimensions of 213.5mm x 145mm x 32mm, weighing in at just 800 grams. The screen as mentioned is 7-inch in size running a resolution of 800x480. Other specs include integrated graphics, LAN, WiFi, headphone jack and three USB 2.0 ports.

 

Pioneer Computers are now shifting this unit directly from their website at $199AUD which carries a 1 year warranty. A 3G equipped model can also be purchased at additional cost.
