Notebook users often buy a notebook for the portability it offers. The device is called the Wireless USB DisplayDock for Mac. Wisair reports that the dock will be coming from four different OEMs by the end of March. The system allows the user to connect an external LCD, keyboard, mouse, and speakers to the receiver and send video and audio from the transmitter on the notebook.

The device only needs a single USB port on the Mac system. That means you don't have to spend money on the expensive Apple adapters for your notebook to get external video. The device will work with all Mac OS versions and there is no word on pricing.
