Chaintech unveils Apogee SSD Convertor using CF cards

Chaintech has released its Apogee SSD Convertor which makes for an alternative to regular SSDs using high capacity CF cards. It is built using a standard 2.5-inch form factor and SATA-II interface.

 

Chaintech also offers the unit together with its latest 16GB or 32GB CF 606x high speed memory cards for optimal performance. Up to two CF cards can be housed inside with the option of also running in RAID 0 or RAID 1 modes.

 

 

Chaintech's new CF 606x cards have rated read and write speeds of 93MB/sec and 91MB/sec respectively.
