BenQ expands V series LCD lineup with 9 new models

By: (more) | Displays & Projectors News | Posted: Feb 8, 2010 8:19 am

BenQ has given its V series monitor lineup a big refreshment with the introduction of nine more models into the series.

The new models include the 18.5-inch V920/V920P, 21.5-inch V2220/V2220P/V2220H/V2220HP, 23-inch V2320 and 24-inch V2420/V2420H.

Standard across the new range are slim profiles (14mm for the 18.5-inch models and 18mm for the others), LED backlighting, dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000,000:1 (1000:1 static ratio), max brightness of 250 cd/m2 and also the use of Senseye Human Vision technology which dynamically adjusts contrast, brightness and backlighting to better suit the monitor's viewing environment.

Resolution wise, the 18-inch models run a native res of 1366x768 whilst all of the others are 1920x1080. Outputs across the range include both D-Sub and DVI, with the 'H' models also including HDMI.

All but the 23-inch model are set for release in Taiwanese stores later this month and into March. The 23-inch model will be released in June.
