Neonode unveils zBook eReader platform

eReaders are going to continue to be a big deal this year with more and more firms jumping into the business. EReaders are very popular gadgets and will continue to be popular as more consumers get used to the idea of reading on an electronic device.

Neonode has unveiled a new eReader platform called the zBook that is a low cost reference design. The zBook platform uses Neonode zForce tech and delivers 100% transparent touch windows, input from finger or stylus, and multi-touch functionality.

 

The platform also supports gestures for controlling the information on the screen. The screen incorporates features from both resistive and capacitive touchscreens into its design.
