MSI to launch $500 10-inch Tegra tablet 2H 2010

With thin and lightweight the big focus

The folks at Digitimes have learned that MSI is planning to launch a Tegra powered tablet PC in the second half of 2010.

The tablet is said to sport a 10-inch touchscreen and along with the 8-core Tegra 2 SoC will have HD video playback capabilities and wireless support. MSI intend to make it as light-weight and thin as possible for mobility.

 

The company is said to be providing several models with differing specifications for a wider market audience from around the $500 price point on.
