Ion Twin Video camera is really cool

By: (more) | Cameras News | Posted: Jan 22, 2010 4:33 pm

Many people spend a lot of their time shooting video of sports and interviews and other stuff. Most cameras today can only record one side of an interview or sporting event. Ion has a new video camera that records what's in front of the camera and behind it at the same time.

The camera is positioned for professionals that video interviews or video blog, but it would be pretty cool for consumers too. I can see the thing being great for YouTube types that like to record themselves and friends doing tricks and other things on skateboards or bikes for example.

Anyone who watched America's Funniest Home Videos knows the video gold that results when someone takes a skateboard to the groin. With the Ion Twin Video, you can record the blow to the groin and you laughing at the guy who got hurt at the same time. The little camera has no price yet, but does record stereo sound as well.
