NZXT offers up Hades mid-tower case

By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: Jan 13, 2010 4:06 pm

I have had my hands on several cases from NZXT over the years and I have pretty much liked them all. The cases tend to be well built and cheaper than the big names out there like Lian Li. The cases are also typically very cool to look at which is a big deal to most of us.

NZXT has unveiled its latest chassis called the Hades. The chassis is a mid-tower with nine 5.25" drive bays available. The case can also be configured with five 5.25" drive bays and four 3.5" bays if needed. NZXT designed the Hades with enough room for the long video cards on the market today like the ATI 5970.

There is 300mm of clearance for video cards inside the case. The Hades is also ready for water cooling with pre drilled holes and a radiator mount area. The stock cooling system includes fans on the front and rear of the case with a spot for an option top fan too. Pricing is unknown at this time, but these cases typically retail for around $100.
