One of the next gadget purchases I make will be a new eReader and I am glad that I waited until CES to start looking for one. Several new readers that have debuted at the show are cool. The entourage eDGe was first seen a while back, but the thing is up for preorder now.

The eDGe will set you back $490 in blue color or an additional $40 for any other color including black, red, white, and ice blue. The device is set to ship this February. The eDGe is different from other eReaders and the maker calls the thing a dualbook.

It has a 9.7-inch e-Ink display and one side for eBooks and the other side has a 10.1-inch color LCD with a resolution of 1024 x 600 for surfing the net. The device supports input form a stylus or an onscreen keyboard. It can read ePub and PDF files and has built-in WiFi for connectivity.
