The Asus Eee 1001P netbook has the same 10.1-inch screen we already know and love and the machine runs the Intel Atom N450 processor. The rig runs Windows XP and it has a 160GB HDD and 1GB of RAM. It will sell for EUR 267 and is set to ship on January 6.

Other features of the machine include a 0.3 MP webcam and it has 11 hours of battery life according to Asus. That is sure to be an inflated number, but battery life should be good. The machine also sports WiFi and three USB ports.
