MSI's next-gen Atom powered Wind netbooks spotted

Details of MSI's upcoming Wind family of netbooks sporting the next-gen Atom N450 powered platform have surfaced with four models said to be coming out; these being the U130, U135, U140 and U160.

Whilst not officially announced as yet, we learn that these new units run a 10.1-inch LCD, a minimum of 1GB RAM, integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics and a 160 or 250GB HDD depending on the model (with the possibility of an SSD as an option). It's expected that MSI will opt for Windows 7 Starter Edition for this series.

 

We'll bring you full details once the official launch takes place, expected within the next couple weeks.
