Age of Conan goes free forever

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Dec 15, 2009 2:09 pm

I saw the Age of Conan game way back at E3 is 2007 well before the game was launched to the public and it looked cool. I was all set to buy the game until I realized I would have to pay monthly to play. I know there is maintenance with an MMORPG, but I am not willing to paying to play a game each month when sweet games like Team Fortress and COD can be played online for free.

If you like the Age of Conan game, but like me aren't willing to pay monthly Funcom has a new deal for you. It is offering an unlimited, free trial of the game with no expiration date to those who download by January 1.

The free game will let you enjoy the entire Island of Tortage with all features available including player versus player combat. Funcom is hoping you will upgrade to paid after you are hooked to get new content.
