Whilst Nehalem has well and truly taken over now in the performance/enthusiast market segments, LGA 775 (Core 2) is still a very capable and attractively priced platform that fairs well in todays market.

This 45nm quad is clocked at 2.83GHz with an FSB of 1333MHz and has 6MB of shared L2 cache. The processor is intended to replace the existing 2.66GHz Q9400 at the same $183 price point.
