By: (more) | Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Dec 10, 2009 10:31 am

A-DATA has started shipping its XPG series SX95 and S592 solid state drives with a new firmware as of this week which is optimized for use with Windows 7's TRIM feature.

Along with support for Windows 7 TRIM, the new firmware will more efficiently handle block cleaning for adding to the free block pool as well as extending the life of the SSD and offering more stabilized performance.

If you are an existing owner of one of A-DATA's new XPG SX95 or S592 drives, you can also update to the new firmware via a free download made available on A-DATA's support page.

Further information can be found within the official announcement here folks.
